I’ve added some new little (blue) penguin photos to my web gallery.

I just can’t get enough of our beautiful native green geckos. Have a look at the new additions to my gallery to see some stunning North Cape green geckos photographed in the wild, Far North of New Zealand.

Last week I photographed my first forest gecko (Hoplodactylus granulatus). Photos have now been added to my gallery.

The weather today is rather wet, and forecast to get worse. A good day to sit in front of a monitor, sorting though a huge backlog of images, and reworking some old favourites. The patterns in this photo of the Te Paki sand dunes inspired me to try a monochrome interpretation, and I’m pleased I did.

Near the end of a recent pelagic birdwatching trip on the Hauraki Gulf we came across one of the most magnificent things I’ve seen; a huge mixed pod of common bottlenose dolphins and false killer whales.
