I was immediately struck by the size and beautiful lines of the giant dunes. The sky was filled with dark clouds so I quickly grabbed some gear and headed off into the sand, while a strong westerly wind did its best to fill my clothes and eyes with grit.<\/p>\n<p>I ran around until it was almost too dark to see, doing my best to capture what I saw of the stunning patterns in in the sand and the contrasting dark sky. I came away with many pleasing images, and I have now added a selection of them to the <a href=\"\/gallery\/index.php\/category\/coast\">coast section of my landscape gallery<\/a>.
